![]() ![]() ![]() The city only has like, five doors you can actually knock on to get anything done at all and they're all located far apart from each other so idk, write it down or something if you can't remember the difference. Every path is basically a straight shot towards where it's going, with only a couple zones actually having the shortcut system of Dark Souls (with the unlockable paths behind gates and such) and the rest more or less being a straight line with some side rooms. There comes a point where the audience "gets it" and the writer should stop repeating it.Originally posted by weirdee:I'm still going to keep making fun of every single person who complains about there not being a minimap in this game because the zones aren't actually large enough to warrant needing it. The point is that the dialogue WRITER felt the need to constantly bring it up, like they thought having a female protagonist was something impressive and everyone playing the game should be amazed by it. I'm not going to cite specific examples, despite amazement being expressed by varying degrees of surprise by just about every character in the game, because that's not the crux of the observation. ![]() This is not an assumption you should make, the one who could have misunderstood what is being conveyed could be you. Can you give an example of such a case?Īlso please don't tell me to not skip the dialogue, when you say so you're assuming that if people pay attention to what is being said, they would come to the same conclusion as you. NPCs have expressed amazement over that she is unreasonable powerful (she is a video game main character after all), but I don't recall any expressing amazement over the combination of her being a girl and a warrior. I only recall Roxanne making a deal out of it and she is a major stick in the mud. She is a girl and a warrior, mentioning those facts does not make an NPC amazed over it. It's like every other character is so amazed that a "oh a girl is able to do this?". Her age, sex, and occupation are nearly always mentioned at least once in every conversation.
